Brainstorm Blog 1

For my self-portrait of this imaginary character should have a somewhat sci-fi theme. It probably won't show its face. Because this character is most likely in war, especially a war that took place in the future. Likely, a future warfare, and he who takes selfie during battle. He is a very strong soldier that he could usually finish the entire battle by himself with no help. However, he does not know how to cooperate, which is why if you see him, he is always by himself. All the teammates he had were always dead in the battlefield. The reason I want to choose this as my project is because I want to create a tragic hero that he is very strong and powerful, however always lonely. I believe that most men once upon a time was thinking that he is a war hero who can turn over the battlefield single handedly, just like Master chief from the video game Halo below.

Other than the heroic Master Chief, I want to borrow idea from another video game named StarCraft, who also appeared to have soldiers. But unlike soldiers being the main force, in StarCraft, the main force are Mechas, and I want to borrow that idea from starcraft, so that the portrait does not only include an image of him in "human form", but also a portrait of himself while driving a Mecha.
